Web forums hosted at interversity.org are sponsored by the Interversity Teaching and Learning Cooperative, an informal, loosely organized alternative learning group. Interversity Co-op is supported by Interversity Inc, which is a small corporation that is almost entirely dependent on donations from members of the Interversity community. Donations are welcome but not required.

Forum Details
Name/Title: Best to keep this short and descriptive.
Description/purpose: This information will be used to inform others about the forum on the Interversity webpages.
Fine print. It's a good idea to make some mention of intellectual property rights and responsibilities. There's an example to the right, kind of a default statement used on interversity.org forums, but you can revise as appropriate for your situation.
Membership: Open means anyone in the world can join without prior approval. Closed means each request to join has to be approved by you or someone you designate to perform that role. Open

Supporting Interversity:
When you hit the Request Forum button below, the information you've provided will be sent to Interversity's forum managerator who will contact you if there are any questions and will otherwise commence to creating your forum. You'll be notified via email as soon as the forum is ready to roll.

You'll also automatically be taken to an Amazon Honor System page that gives you a chance to make a donation to Interversity to help cover the cost of your forum (server resources, user help, etc.). This really is an honor system. You can pay if you are able and are amenable. But you don't have to. It takes time & money to run this show, but we aren't interested in putting the squeeze on anybody. Sort of an anti-Microsoft approach.

Also note that Interversity is not a non-profit corporation, so donations probably are not tax-deductible.
