Hi, all--
This trenchant little sentence here reflects George's long journalistic
experience in distinguishing between reality and illusion, otherwise known as
propaganda. It's something we should all keep in mind as we read corporate
rags like the Boston Globe, NYT, etc. The media have policy goals consistent
with the goals of their corporate owners, and they edit and report "the news"
to present an edited view of reality which supports their policy goals.
