Greetings,

I have a friend in DC who was former life science advisor to Clinton/Gore and currently head of stem cell initiative guideline development (and not exactly a conservative). She loved _March of the Penguins_, and didn't read any political agenda into it. As usual, people see things (or twist things) to conform to their own ideology or should that be no-idea-ology.

films. I think _Grizzly Man_ reflects more about Herzog than has
been mentioned here, although Treadwell certainly was hungry for fame
and glory and does have a troubling relationship with the bears.

Peacock does have a piece about Treadwell in _Outside Online_.

I'm curious about reactions to _March of the Penguins_. It's become
a political message about love and monogamy and heteronormativity up
here in Alaska, as our fearless leaders try to formally rewrite the
state's constitution to formally exclude gay couples from receiving
public employee benefits as domestic partners. How has it been
received in the lower 48?
