I have been praying often and been attentive to the news...

Our school held an assembly at 10:55 this morning to address the horrible
news. Our kids are learning disabled and we wanted to supress panic. We
encouraged them not to turn on TVs and radios right away because of
incorrect propaganda and to wait until they could be with their families.
We encouraged them to take 5 minutes out of class if they needed a time out
and to make sure it was okay with the rest of the group if we talked about
what happened instead of doing our regular classwork. These things MUST be
addressed otherwise what kind of message are we sending? That we're afraid
to talk about it? We must validate their feelings and our own.

I would discuss President's Bush's address - with which, while I'm not a big
fan of W - I was very impressed tonight.

God you all - here's to faith.
