I tried to focus today on just writing with lots of links to the tragedy...I
hope I gave a few students a chance to help figure out what they were
feeling...don't know how successful I have been...with friends in NYC and at
the Pentagon, I have found it hard to focus myself. I think my kids picked
up on my problems...I had several ask if "I was alright..." I tell them I
am, but I think they know I may not be...on top of this tragedy we are
having the take our Graduation Qualifying Exam (GQE) this week. Sophomores
must pass the test to graduate...what a stupid way for kids to remember
where they were the day America's security was forever violated...I'm
tired...and sad...and worried what all this will mean. Thanks for
listening--Ted
