Hello All!

I've been greatly encouraged by finding this site. I am a first year Comp
I teacher at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. And what a first
year to teach!

I feel strongly burdened to help my students (most of whom are 18) deal
with the national crisis. I feel an urgency to equip them with the
knowlege we will all certainly need as well as enable them to emote about
this incident. I am in the process of restructuring the class to deal
with national issues. Since it is a writing class, we will ultimately
deal with these issues through writing.

SO.....I'm looking for ideas. Should we talk about terrorism, peace,
grief, war, none of the above? I need feedback! At the risk of sounding
desperate, please help the newbie!!!!!

Thank you all for being dedicated to students. After all, we are all
helping to develop the future.

May God be with us all,
Ashley Michael
